Usual father was already astv awake before dawn, and especially today, he was like wine aficionado, delighted. Namely, we went to Napa Valley, the most famous wine region of North America. It is only 35 mile long and 5 mile wide but still has about 400 wineries! The most common red grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Zinfandel. If white wine contains mostly astv Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon back. Given the local microclimate is ideal for producing quality wines. Poor volumes in comparison with France barely present.
After a detailed explanation of a lovely lady in downtown Napa, we drove through the Silverado Trail to our first winery: Van Der Heyden, modest domain launched by a Dutchman! They are the proud owner of a very nice sweet dessert wine that can be obtained. Anywhere in the world It soon became clear that Napa eagerly anticipates the tourists present. Most of the wineries that we visited are more like an amusement park than a winery. Secretly I must admit I found it quite successful! All domains are fantastic astv serviced, everyone is very friendly, the wines are all very nice and the setting is wonderful. All of this has its price, bottles of over $ 100 are no exception to the rule.
In addition to Van Der Heyden we visited Stag's Leap Winery (recommended), Robert Mondavi, Caymus, Rutherford Hill, Raymond (must see) and Sattui. If you can not choose you should definitely stop by Raymond, it has some beautiful rooms, is located on a beautiful estate and fine wines. A visit to the domain alone is already worthy of a visit. Expect of course for a lot of tourism in this region.
Oh before I forget, on the way we halted in Yountville, a picturesque village with most gourmet Michelin star restaurants astv per capita! There is also a delicious French bakery, Bouchon Bakery. I have never eaten such delicious blueberry muffin and their croissants are ridiculously delicious! Thank you Marleen;). Particularly delicious restaurants, a fantastic bakery for Sunday pastries, 400 surrounding wineries with wines, cozy streets, in the vicinity of the sea, historic parks and world and you have something for me the sky is .. Here I may well be gaden! astv
After our visit to Napa we quickly visit the nearby forests and many lesser known wine region Sonoma. The wines here are just as tasty, astv the region is much less touristy and the price should astv be halved at least! Yes here it's fantastic stay. We had just enough astv time to one winery, Bartholomew, visit. For one third of the price we could have one more wine tasting and they were all delicious, we even take one to drink along the seaside mm I look forward to it!
The journey to the south could start but an important fact had yet to Pre-Trial Judge, a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge! That same woman in dowtown Napa gave us the tip just before the bridge to drive off (exit Richmond followed by the tunnel road if I'm not mistaken) to continue to admire. Something the bridge Surplus of like she had a nice view of the skyline of SF, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge, a perfect ending to the day! Dad even ventured on a new attempt to take a selfie. Margot immediately understood that it was time for EHBS (First Aid Selfies;)). Now we need just yet to see in Monterey to get. With a stimulus sensitive father, he likes to look pretty around the vaunted scenic astv route parallel to the sea, Highway 1, driving down is no evidence. However, it has its advantages when you can dine on a hill overlooking the sea ..
