MURDER AND HOMICIDE IN HISTORIC NEW YORK (By Monique Brandt) The author Caleb Carr was one stone millionaire when his thriller "The Unmasking" ended up in first place of the New York Times bestseller list. His beautiful nineteenth-century tumoto crime novel about the psychologist Laszlo Kreizler standing with his friends a serial killer knows to detect, is not built only ingenious and exciting, but also gives a fascinating picture of the era in which the former New York City was overrun by immigrants. Also in New York in the early twentieth century, motherhood after all holy; the idea that a woman is capable of this kind of crime is simply intolerable for ordinary mortals. But how dangerous their opponent Libby Hatch and her gang of followers is that even realize Kreizler and his team not enough.
