The new GOs support yet no POIs, this feature will come but zeitnahr. And how many POIs you upload to the device can probably depends somewhat on the memory card that you used in the device from.

POI sets can be installed on all newer appliances up to the new GOs (400, 500, 600, 5000, 6000). With the new GOs this option needs to be delivered through an update. When this happens is not known.
In the Android App, you can copy the *. Ovi and copy *. Bmp file in the map folder and the POIs are then available and can be used as navigation destinations. However, you have to copy it to a new map update into it and this method is not officially supported.

Hi there,
is the statement of TomTom even been made that in the new GO devices the possibility is to be pulled to be able to create your own POI categories again? For I have also treated myself to the GO 6000 and am more than shocked that the POI story is still not clear. Without POI's the thing for me is not usable!
