Today's post is in conjunction with the Mafia Cinema! We decided to stir up some the mob and make a collective post, commenting on our favorite epic movies. tame impala And at the end of the post, I'll leave the blog link on each mob, so you can check theirs too! Come on?
The Mists of Avalon is a film based on the book by Marion Zimmer Bradley. In the book Marion account through Morgana, the legend of King Arthur tame impala and Brittany, the Magician Merlin, the sword Excalibur, and more. There are those who say that the movie is not a great adaptation, but I digress. It is one of the most magical and amazing movies I've ever seen. but, as I said, some people do not like.
Morgaine (Julianna Marguilles, The Good Wife, Ghost Ship) says that everything that is said about King Arthur is a lie, because she, as priestess of Avalon (a mystical island where the religion of the Mother Goddess-born) saw everything it happen and made part of the story. Morgana says that the Saxons would sweep the country and kill those they considered "pagans" who actually were the followers of the goddess-mother, and Christians. tame impala If that happened, Britain would pay the barbarians and Avalon disappeared, so the only solution was to place on the throne a king to unite the two peoples. So, Viviane (Angelica Houston, Morticia tame impala Addams, hi!) Devises tame impala a plan to which the heir is generated, and the choices of Viviane, the Mother Priestess Morgana before, ultimately generate numerous consequences. What Viviane and Morgaine did not count, was that Christianity was advancing too and even for those who have faith in the Goddess and Avalon, the island is difficult alcansar.
The film is very long, has two and a half or three hours duration and a very complex plot. But the way the whole story of Avalon was shown, really made me enchanted. Julianna Marguilles and Angelica Houston are just perfect in the role and interpret their characters with such devotion, that is until posível believe in Avalon.
Outside tame impala the cast and script, which draws more attention in the film undoubtedly is the setting, costumes and soundtrack. The sets used for recording are awesome and special effects was not necessary; costumes are clean, historically accurate and beautifully tame impala crafted! But the soundtrack is a show piece! I have it all here on PC, and when I'm through that creative vibe, put her to touch and feel back to the times of medieval Britain. It's exciting!
A cool aspect tame impala of the film, and I usually always check epics, is the chronology and historical part this is correct. Of course with a film that talks about magic and Avalon, is not taken seriously tame impala so in that aspect, but the relationship itself that Marion and the director did in his books and film, respectively, are historically correct. At that time, the UK was not the UK and did not yet exist to England itself existed only Britain and other kingdoms. And the Saxons mentioned in history were people of Germanic origin and migrate to Britain, would merge with the Britons and would form the Anglo-Saxons, and that subsequently form the Kingdom of England. In the film, Viviane has a mission to put a king (Arthur) Unisex that the two people (and two religions: tame impala Christianity tame impala and the followers of the goddess).

Love actresses who devote themselves to the characters as well ... and so "it is even possible to believe in Avalon"? I believe! hahahahaha ... For the pictures you posted, ambiance and wonderful costumes seem to be the same. I want to see the movie one day, but first I'll have to read the books, you already bought. Kiss!
