Recent Posts Seminal Videos for Makers of All Ages ISTE 2014 Makered Favorites! Making Possibilities


Tom Lauwer, the inventor behind the terrific Hummingbird and Finch robotics kits has announced a new Kickstarter for his latest invention, the Hummingbird Duo . Yes, I know, another Kickstarter – but wait, this one is really really different!
If you haven’t heard of the Hummingbird robotics kit , you should duster really take a look at them. We find that the Hummingbird is really useful for craft projects with moving parts. You can program it using various duster programming languages including Scratch, and the controller board is easy to use and configure, simpler than using an Arduino.
By the way, if you are planning duster on attending ISTE 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia in June, Tom will be our special guest at our day-long pre-conference workshop and you will get to play with the Hummingbird Duo before anyone else! Check out the ISTE event here. Hope to see you there!
